HIS + Electronic patient records + ADT

Connect MEG with your hospital information systems (HIS), including the Electronic Patient Record (EPR/EHR) system and Admissions, Discharge and Transfer (ADT) system, through an HL7 connection so staff can search for and select a patient, populating relevant forms fields with one click.

Active Directory

Simplify life for administrators and end users, while keeping your network secure and organised. Authenticate MEG users with Active Directory (AD), and map permission groups in AD to permission groups in MEG.

SINGLE SIGN ON (SSo)

Go further and enable the single sign-on (SSO) solution in conjunction with Active Directory, to allow users to login to MEG (and multiple applications) with just one set of credentials, eliminating the hassle and risk of managing different combinations of usernames and passwords.

easy data import and export

MEG makes it easy for users with the correct permissions level to import (or export) data in CSV or XML file formats into or out of the system. Manually export report data in a wide range of formats (XML, CSV, PPT, JPEG, PDF etc.), or automate a data export via MEG’s API.

medication lists

With one simple click, staff will be able to bypass manually typing out long medication names and quickly click to select options from a list right within the field itself! Enable batch CSV imports from your formulary into our system and easy access for searching by medication name - no more juggling between different platforms to get everything done!

equipment/medical device asset register

With this integration (using batched CSV exports from your asset management system), staff are able to quickly and easily search for devices - or specific device information - that have been involved in an event without having to leave a form or manually enter data.

Email integration

Emails in MEG can be configured in response to in-app events, or simply as reminders that can run on a schedule, or as an isolated event. Emails can be enabled/disabled, and can be sent to a specific recipient list. No sensitive data is included in any of the messages MEG sends.

SMS Integration

SMS messages in MEG can also be configured in response to in-app events. In the case of voice alert notifications, a phone call is made to the user and the notification message is read aloud. All messages contain links to MEG where privileged users can view data relevant to the message. Again, no sensitive data is included in the messages MEG sends.
